DESCRIPTION

  • The aim of the exercise is to develop unit work, communication and good Technique for receiving Kick offs.

COACHING POINTS

  • The coach blows his whistle, the supporting lifters go to meet the jumper and go through jump/lift process as shown above.

  • Jumper to jump with both feet together. Keep core switch on when jumping and point toes down.

  • Lifter to extend fully, get close together and stay strong throughout.

  • When confident the unit can then start moving forward then left and right. When this process is good, we can then introduce the ball from

    kicking feeder.
