This session will get your players improving that forehand volley, to catch their opponent off guard. The volley will set your players up for a more attacking approach and playing positive tennis.
We’ll look at the tactical decisions made by your players, making them aware of when is the right moment to come forward to the net. Mistiming your approach could lose your player a valuable point! Your player’s technique will also be improved such as the back-swing and the point of contact, so they can hit the perfect forehand volley.
What’s in the Session?
We’ll start off with some simple warm up exercises, to get those legs moving and not being flat-footed. We then move into some forehand drills, improving your player’s accuracy and firing those forehands away from their opponent. Finish off with some simple - yet effective - technique drills to get your players hitting the ball in the correct way.
