Introducing Players to the Pivot

This session has been designed to get all your players involved, improving their passing, receiving and pivoting with the intention of having a higher passing completion with fewer turnovers!

Passing and receiving are two of the fundamentals of the game and players should be refreshed regularly. That's why in this session, through a series of clearly illustrated and annotated drills, we look at the bounce, chest and overhead pass - as well as introducing your players to the power of the pivot!

The pivot is an important technique which allows players to change direction, look for a shot or pass and shield the ball from the opposition.

  • More accurate passes, higher completion percentage, fewer turnovers!

Try this session with your players and improve the basics of their game whilst introducing them to the power of the pivot!
