I am looking for a good drill that will explain posting?

I am looking for a good drill that will explain posting up to maintain possesion? Anyone help?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Posting up just means receiving the ball as you run towards it. You can receive it and run straight on with it or receive it and turn in a semi circle left or right. Try (for adults) setting 2 cones about 20m apart (cones 1) with 2 more 4m directly behind them (cones 2). On either side, to form a corridor about 4m wide, place red cones at 5m, blue cones at 10m from where you put cones 1. Split your players into 2 groups and place them at cones 2. All have balls except the end player in the line. P1 runs with ball from cone 1 to cone 2 and hits towards P2. P2 runs towards ball as it is hit attempting to take it before it gets to the cone 1 in front of him/her and keeps running. Coach to shout left blue / red or right blue / red. The player with the ball then peels off and runs around the stipulated cone passing it back to the last waiting player on her/his line. Repeat from the other side. Progress by having every other player waiting in line act as a defender behind the receiving player. The marker follows the player posting up and attempts to tackle or distract him/her. The drills can be adapted to other drills eg moving the ball from the left rear corner%3A Left back hits to left half / wing who posts up left (infield) in preparation to either return to CH or start the ball progressing across to the right.Equally useful in attacking drills, putting the receiver on the base line to post up into a position to deliver a cross.
